Welcome to Everyday Med!

Hi everyone!
My name is and I am the founder of Everyday Med and the Everyday Med blog. I am a rising senior at Little Rock Central High School and am very passionate about medicine. Everyday Med is focused on sharing information about new medical discoveries and mysteries in our world to interested students and youth during the COVID-19 pandemic. It also focuses on researching information about medical procedures, equipment, etc. that are used in certain careers so people know how they work and are used. Every week, the aim is to put out one or two new medical stories to help spread medical information to other students and youth, hopefully allowing them to find the same passion in medicine as I do. Learning about new discoveries and medical mysteries always interests me and causes me to dig deeper into them to find out more about them. I will also be connecting with doctors, nurses, or others in the healthcare/medicine field to learn more about their careers through Q&As and share it with others.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, Everyday Med will also show others how COVID-19 has affected certain careers and what healthcare professionals are doing in this time. It will also explain how COVID-19 has affected medicine in general. I know that many students do not have the opportunity to volunteer in hospitals or shadow people in medical professions, so I hope, as an alternative, this organization will provide you with information you could have learned from those experiences.
I hope you all will enjoy what is in store for this organization and this blog and follow along to learn new information every week!
